Max's blood work shows that he has improved, but not to his normal kidney levels. There is a chance of permanent kidney damage. We won't know the extent of it for a few months, but since he's young and healthy, he does have a good chance of regaining full kidney function. The vet wanted to keep him for one more day, but I explained to them that we could only afford $2000, which we had already reached. They were able to help us out, and they let Max get treated for another full 24 hours for FREE.
